I realized today that I have so many memories of Kaylan as a child that nobody shares with me. Her dad died in 2005, and her brother is 21 months younger... so I'm the only one. Like her theater photos from the 5 plays she did in Jr. High. And the science trip in the 6th.
My son's 31st birthday is upon me. All of the above holds true for him as well. I'm the one. I'm writing my memories for him. Even the little things, like our first address. The night he was born. His first step.
